Actions that can be performed on each right are listed below.


You might have noticed same rights are listed under "Manager" are listed under "Administrator" too.


Before you read further, note that there is a difference in assigning rights under "Manager" and "Administrator". The difference is - User having rights under "Administrator" can access any service. Where as, users having rights under "Manager" can access only those services that they are part of.


Two rights that are visible under "Administrator" are explained below:


Super Administrator - Having this right will allow user to perform following functions:

  • Can create new users, inactivate existing users and change user rights
  • Can change their own rights
  • Can delete any file uploaded by any user
  • Can access settings

Access to Vault - Can access vault, a repository of all files uploaded for any service/ client


Following rights are available under "Manager" as well as "Administrator". Each right is described in detail:


Manage Clients 

This right deals with clients. This will allow user to create new clients, edit existing client information and inactivate clients. This right gives user right to upload and download client list.


Manage service

This right deals with services. User having this right can create services, edit services, inactivate services or reopen inactivated or closed services. 


Manage people within a service

User having this right can associate or remove users from a service that she/ he has access to.


Complete and close a service

User having this right can close a service to which she/ he has access to.


Manage Templates

User having this right can - 

  • Create a template
  • Edit existing templates
  • Delete templates

In addition to above rights, user can push tasks from templates to services or remove tasks from services.


Manage Contacts

Users having this right can create contacts to either client company or to their own company. Note that contacts and users are different. A user is some one who can login to Papilio.


Executives

Any user not given any of the rights under Administrator or Manager are Executives. By default, Executives can access only those services to which they are associated to. And, within those services, executives can perform following activities only -

  • Upload files
  • Enter time
  • Complete or reopen tasks
  • Enter comments on any task
  • Create messages or reply to messages
